Definition MICE Tourism

MICE means Meetings, Incentives, Congresses and Events. MICE-tourism therefore mainly focuses on business group travellers.

Definition DMC

A DMC is responsible for all transfers to get the consumer from A to B or to bring the necessary equipment. In addition, a DMC can provide accommodation and entertainment on location. The extensive knowledge of the region or city makes the DMC a field expert on location for incoming visitors. A DMC is usually able to offer more advantageous prices based on its purchasing power and good relationships with local suppliers. A DMC can also arrange outbound tourism if they have good relationships with DMCs in other countries.

Differences: MICE & Business Travel

The difference between business tourism and MICE is that individual business travelers or small groups of two or three colleagues are not covered by MICE, but they are covered by business tourism when the travelers have a business motive.

How do I book the trip?

We start listing all your ideas and desires. We like to think along with you, so if you don't know exactly which direction you want to go, we are happy to help! Based on your briefing, you will receive one or more proposals free of charge and without obligation. All our trips are tailor-made, so you can always think along with your trip - even after it has already been paid (in advance). This is how you book the perfect trip!

How does the payment (in advance) work?

When you confirm the trip, we ask for a deposit, which we need to pay our suppliers. Depending on your terms and conditions, this is between 20% - 40%. The largest part must be paid only 6 weeks before departure.

Is the organising project manager on site?

That depends on you. If you want the project manager on site, the one responsible will be there ;)

Is the group insured during the trip?

With Boutique Holland DMC you travel safely and insured. We only work with local and conscious experts who work safely, use modern equipment for activities and have well-maintained means of transport. And should something happen to you due to the fault of one or another? Then we have excellent coverage with a Dutch Travel Liability insurance company.
